The digital composer Eden Grey began producing electronic music in 2004,
after several years of classical piano lessons and deep appreciation and
love for music took a turn into the future. She is highly influenced by
experimental and computer music, the prolific dubstep scene along with her
two favorite artists, Autechre and Aphex Twin, as well as the genres of
ambient, hip-hop and IDM.
Eden believes that music is a gift from the cosmos for everyone to share
and enjoy. In the age of the future, she is compelled to create by creating
variations of new sounds in all styles of production to express deep
feelings to evoke states of mind. Her music aims to bring the listeners to
an emotional state where they can connect directly to the rhythms and
melodies through the organization and progression of the tones and
patterns. Eden uses Ableton Live 8, an E-MU Xboard, field recordings and
lots of different VSTs and FX to make her music the state of mind that it
is.
